Use this durable, positionable vinyl film to create commercial vehicle or fleet markings (including rail cars), emblems, striping, labels and general signage ­ both indoors and out.

Film series 180 is especially well suited for large graphics because it features 3M's patented pressure-activated adhesive, making it easier to reposition graphics until firm pressure is applied during installation. The film’s exceptional durability characteristics make it ideal for long-term graphic applications.

When used with compatible products, produced by one of 3M's Scotchprint® Graphics Authorized Manufacturers and applied according to written instructions, this film can be used to produce a Scotchprint® Graphic.

Film series 180:

• is a 2 mil (0.05 mm) opaque vinyl film; 3 to 4 mil (0.08 to 0.10 mm) with the adhesive
• features a gray or clear, pressure-activated adhesive for easier application of large graphics
• has a 94# polyethylene-coated, paper liner

Film series 180 can be used on flat or corrugated surfaces, with and without rivets; simple curves and moderate, compound curves. Appropriate substrates include ABS resins, aluminum, chrome, glass, fiberglass-reinforced plastic and paint.

It has an application temperature range from 40° to 100° F (4° to 38°C) on flat surfaces and 50° to 100°F (10° to 38°C) on corrugated surfaces.

Film series 180 roll sizes vary by color:

• Basic colors (films 180-10, -12, -22, -114) come in standard 24", 36", 48", 60" x 50 and 100-yard long rolls.
• Standard colors come in standard 24", 36", 48" x 50 and 100-yard long rolls.
• Metallic colors come in standard 24", 48" x 50 and 100-yard long rolls.

Basic and Standard colors are also available in non-standard widths.

Unprocessed film has a shelf life of two years; processed film has a shelf life of one year. It should be stored in a clean, dry area, out of direct sunlight and at a temperature less than 100°F (38°C).
